A. First Aid Survey

We will meet with your key stakeholders including HR and OH&S managers to gather information about your factories, offices or shops.

This information will be entered into a first aid survey program to determine the appropriate number of First Aiders for the workplace and the type and number of first aid kits and other equipment such as eye wash stations you need at your various premises.

B. Plan

The next step is the development of a ‘First Aid Plan’ which will include specific emergency response procedures.

The plan will be reviewed annually and/or after any major incident.

Branded posters will be provided, showing the emergency procedures and names and contact details of your first aiders.

The First Aid Plan will be able to be accessed online via the secure client area.

C. Train

Our training is conducted by Cert IV trainers and assessors who are all experienced health professionals with ambulance and emergency services backgrounds.

The training is conducted either on site at your premises or at one of our conveniently-located training venues.

D. Record

All your First Aiders details will be added to our database so you can see their test results and skills levels by accessing our secure online website.

E. Track

Alsco automatically tracks each First Aider for refresher training and any required re-certification via a first aid learning management program.

F. Alert

Email reminders are forwarded when certification of any First Aider is due to expire or when annual refresher training is due. Reminders of already -scheduled training also are sent.

Scheduled training can be viewed by logging on to our secure web site client area.

G. Report

First Aiders are trained to use our online Injury Management Centre to complete online incident reports. These reports can be printed for the first aider to keep as a personal record.

HR and OH&S managers can use the Injury Management Centre to generate reports with information such as the number and type of injuries/incidents and location within the workplace.
